My end of the year follow up post didn’t go according to plan! Like I kept writing it and saving it to publish and than poof! Before you knew it, February snuck up on me. But while I was procrastinating, I found some new awesome products, so there is that. Below are my January faves…
You know what also snuck up on me, my son’s second birthday. It is true, I blinked and he turned two. You know life is crazy like that…anyways moving on to the goods…
I finally found a favorite moisturizer…why is Stephanie Nicole always right?

One of my favorite YouTubers is Stephanie Nicole. She is a tell it like it is, tough ass chick, that also extensively researches products as well as their ingredients and knows her stuff. I trust her, she has never led me wrong. For years she has recommended this Belif Moisturizer, the Truth Moisturizing Bomb if you have dry skin, the Aqua Bomb if you have combo/oily. I love this stuff so much. I would bathe in it if I could. I will probably have to repurchase at the end of the month and I will be glad to do so. It just keeps my skin so hydrated, it absorbs so quickly, it doesn’t do weird stuff with my makeup. Highly recommend! At 38 USD it ain’t cheap, but I think it is so worth it. You can find at Sephora.
Tatcha Violet- C Radiance Mask

Thanks to my skincare fairy, I mean my sister, I have a deluxe size sample of this mask and holy smokes it is good. First it’s purple so that is awesome. Secondly it makes my face glow and look so naturally radiant, I would say the glow lasts about two days after I schmear it on for 20 minutes. It is a good mask, but I don’t think it is taking years off my face or anything. I believe that everyone should have a mask that they love, I just don’t know if this is my “bite the bullet and buy full size of this” mask yet, we shall see, but for the time being it is working. I also kind of don’t want to pay the 68 USD for this, but I might. You can find this mask at Sephora.
Dose of Colors Liquid Lipsticks

I usually hate Liquid Lipsticks, but this formula is awesome. Highly pigmented, comfy, long lasting, doesn’t shrivel my lips up in a bad way, like most Liquid Lipsticks do. I love these lipsticks! I have the colors Campfire and Stone, and I am pretty sure I will be buying another one in the near future. They also have some really cool unique shades. 18 USD each and you can find at Ulta or their website.
Me at work with Campfire hanging on my lips. It is a unique shade for me, like a warm salmon, but I am digging it!
Old Navy Active Wear
Some recent health stuff has scared me enough to be on the move again. Luckily I am fine, but I have more motivation to workout now besides just losing weight. I am back at the gym, trying to do yoga when I can, and walking and playing with my family. Here is to a healthy 2018 for all!
My active gear post pregnancy has been a mush pot of random stuff, I am slowly adding cute and functional workout gear to my collection. Behold Old Navy! I found their workout stuff to be better in quality than comparable price brands like Target or even Gap. I own the leggings down below and love them! I want the pink sweatshirt, because apparently I am obsessed with back detail workout tops.

Last but not least… Mozart in the Jungle and The Man In the HighCastle
When I actually stay up late enough, me and the Hubs are trying to get hooked on a new show.
This is a great historical fiction show based on Phillip K Dick’s novel of the same name. Fun fact, I am a die hard history buff and this show has such an interesting premise. What would happen if the Nazis freaking won WWII? America is split up between Nazi land on the East Coat, and The Japanese empire on the West Coast. Needless to say, most Americans do not like this setup, and the show follows people in the Resistance, or the people that want to change this craziness. Some episodes are slow, but it is mostly good stuff. You can stream it on Amazon Prime.
Mozart in the Jungle
Apparently not many people watch this show, and I don’t know why! It’s good. The Hubs and I just started watching and we are like 4 or 5 episodes in. It’s like behind the scenes drama of the New York Symphony. Someone watch these two shows so we can chat! Also streaming on Amazon.
Till next time Originals!
